Setting Modem Articonet ACN-100R dan ACN-110
Cara melakukan setting di komputer untuk akses ke modem Articonet.
Untuk setting di komputer dilakukan sesuai dengan operating system yang dipakai di komputer pelanggan, disini yang dibahas khusus untuk Windows XP.
Lakukan network setting di PC (komputer) sbb:
a. Start � Control Panel � Network Connection
b. arahkan kursor pada Local Area Connection yang aktif, kemudian klik kanan dan pilih properties
c. kemudian pilih menu Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) dan klik 2X, maka akan muncul menu General.
d. Pilih Obtain an IP Address Automatically kemudian pilih Obtain DNS server address automatically, kemudian tekan tombol OK.

Cara Membuka Flasdisk Yang Tidak Bisa Di Buka

Langkah-langkah yang bisa dilakukan ketika Flashdisk tidak terbaca:

A. Cobalah di Komputer / USB yang lain
Bisa saja port USB yang anda gunakan memang rusak, jadi cobalah dahulu di pc yang lain atau port USB yang lain
B. Lakukan Format, ada beberapa cara memformat Flashdisk, diantaranya yaitu :
1. Format di Windows Explorer
Klik Kanan Start explorer, klik kanan drive, Format – start
2. Format Melalui Disk Management
Klik kanan My Computer > Manage dan di pilih Disk Management, klik kanan drive lalu Format
3. Format lewat under DOS
Hal ini dilakukan karena MBR (Master Boot of Record) Flashdisk yg bermasalah , caranya
Ketik chkdsk /f E: (dimana E adalah drive flashdisk)
buang file yang ada pada Flash Disk dengan perintah Del drive letter:*.* contoh ketik: DEL E:*.*
Lalu format dengan perintah Dos Promt. Format E:
4. Format dengan software atau Tools, seperti :
I. HP USB Storage Formatter Tools
Langkahnya, yaitu:
1. Install aplikasi tersebut, rekomendasi OS yang digunakan adalah Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server dan Novel Netware,
2. Masukkan flashdisk yang bermasalah ke salah satu port USB. Pastikan flashdisk anda terdeteksi dan memperoleh alokasi drive di Windows,
3. Jalankan aplikasi HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool
4. Tentukan drive tempat flashdisk terpasang,
5. Pilih Create New or Replace Existing Configuration untuk membuat partisi baru baru dan menghapus konfigurasi yang ada di flashdisk,
6. Format flashdisk anda sesuai dengan file sistem yang diinginkan.
II. Testdisk-6.10
Tools ini biasa digunakan untuk mengembalikan data – data yg kehapus di FD akibat format tapi juga bisa buat FD yg MBRnya bermasalah (cara penggunaannya find by googling), Tool-tool lain yang bisa digunakan diataranya LLFsetup2.36.1181, Format, dll
4. Format flashdisk melalui Linux/LiveCD Linux
Langkah yang harus dilakukan:
1. Booting komputer menggunakan LiveCD Linux, misal Slax KillBill, Knoppix atau distro lainnya,
2. Setelah login ke sistem, masukkan flashdisk yang bermasalah tadi ke salah satu port USB. Demi keamanan data, pastikan hanya flashdisk yang bermasalah saja yang terpasang,
3. Pastikan flashdisk anda terdeteksi, atau setidaknya indikator led nyala,
4. Masuk ke console
5. Pada console jalankan cfdisk /dev/sda1 (sesuaikan dengan flashdisk ke berapa yang terpasang),
6. Delete atau hapus partisi pada flashdisk,
7. Buat partisi baru dengan memilih Create New | Write,
8. Simpan perubahan yang baru saja anda lakukan,
9. Format flashdisk dengan cara mengetikan perintah mkfs.vfat-f32 /dev/sda1 di console.
10. Flashdisk anda telah memiliki partisi baru, sehingga bisa digunakan kembali baik di Linux maupun di Windows.
C. Mengganti Drive Letter Flashdisk
Klik kanan My Computer > Manage dan di pilih Disk Management
Contoh jika drive Flashdisk anda adalah F, klik kanan Drive F: ( flashdisk anda), kemudian pilih menu Change Drive Letter and Path for F: rubah dengan drive lain contoh rubah dengan drive G.
D. Solder Kembali Komponen Flashdisk
Kalo yang ini tips dari temen saya, komponen yang ada pada flashdisk di re solder, tapi lakukan dengan hati-hati, jangan sampai malah merusak board atau komponen flashdisk yang lain.
E. Program ulang Mikrokontroller Flashdisk
Cara ini mungkin agak sedikit extreme, jika memang solusi garansi sudah tidak ada. Mikrokontroller mengendalikan segala aktifitas pembacaan dan penulisan pada flashdisk. Caranya buka flashdisk anda, dalam hal ini saya contohkan Flashdisk dengan merek Transcend seri Jetflash V30, di situ terlihat ada dua komponen berwarna gelap yang berbentuk segi empat. Komponen yang lebih besar adalah modul memory, modul memory tersebut menentukan besarnya kapasitas flashdisk. Komponen yang lebih kecil adalah mikrokontroller.
Merek dari mikrokontrollernya adalah ALCOR-AU6982. Merek dan serinya terlihat di board Mikrokontolernya, search ke google dengan nama “alcor AU6982 flash”, Download Toolnya lalu jalankan.

Tips Flash Disk Supaya Kebal dari Malware
1. Buat agar windows explorer menampilkan semua file, termasuk file yang disembunyikan. Caranya buka di folder option, lalu show hidden file termasuk recommedednya dilepas centangnya.
2. Buka USB Flash disk (pastikan sudah bebas dari virus-virus jahat). Hapus file autorun.inf yang ada.
3. Buat folder baru dengan nama “autorun.inf”
4. Masuk ke folder yang baru saja dibuat.
5. Buat file teks biasa pakai notepad dengan nama sembarangan. Nanti, nama file itu akan diubah dengan karakter-karakter dari bahsa Jepang, Korea, atau China.
6. Kalau anda sudah instal Microsoft Office, coba buka di Character Map di Start, program, Accessories, System Tools, Character Map. Pilih font (Arial Unicode MS). Scroll kebawah sampai anda menemukan karakter-karakter Jepang, Korea, atau Cina. Klik ganda pada karakter yang dipilih. Beri saja 5 karakter untuk nama file.
7. Klik copy
8. Setelah itu, ubah nama (rename) file teks yang sudah dibuat. Klik kanan pada file, lalu klik rename.
9. Tekan Ctrl + V untuk melakukan paste. Nama file pun sudah pakai karakter-karakter yang dipilih. bisa jadi yang muncul bukan huruf jepang, cina atau korea tapi kotak-kotak. Tidak apa apa itu normal.
10. Selesai. Flash Disk anda sekarang sudah aman dari malware. Kenapa Aman? Soalnya, malware tidak bisa membuat file autorun.inf. Dalam satu folder windows, tidak ada boleh nama file yang sama, bukan? Karena nama autorun.inf sudah kita pakai, malware tidak bisa pakai nama file itu. Pembuatan file teks dengan nama file menggunakan karakter dari bahasa jepang, korea, atau cina pun ada lasannya. Malware biasanya tidak mendukung Unicode sehingga karakter-karakter jepang, Korea, dan Cina pun tetap dianggap karakter windows. Malware pun akan gagal menghapus file itu.
Tips mengamanakan file di flashdisk dari serangan virus
Caranya: buat sebuah folder dan beri nama dengan awalan berupa karakter-karakter spesial ASCII (cara dilakukan dengan menekan alt tahan lalu 3 angka di bagian num lock lepaskan). Contoh
alt + 123 = {
alt + 234 = Ω
alt + 235 = δ
Lalu letakkan file-file anda di folder tersebut
Tips Perawatan Flashdisk
1. Hindarkan dari panas langsung atau tidak langsung
2. Hindarkan dari air.
3. Jauhkan dari medan magnet.
4. Hindari benturan yang keras.
5. Tutup selalu.
6. Lakukan prosedur eject atau stop.
Jika ditaksbar Safely Remove Hardware-nya tidak bisa diakses coba gunakan mini aplikasi portable Usb Disk Ejector 1.1.2
7. Minimalisasi proses hapus tulis.
8. Lakukan scan virus (hindari Komputer bervirus)
9. Jangan melakukan pengeditan langsung pada flashdisk
10. Lakukan drefagment secara teratur.
Kemungkinan lainnya adalah jika metal usb nya dipegang tangan, kemungkinan listrik statis ditangan dapat merusak komponen elekstris pada Flashdisk, yaitu terjadi gangguan mikrokontroller Flashdisk sehingga harus diprogram ulang.

Sortcuts :
1. Menyimpan nomor “Missed Call” di direktori ponsel.
Cari menu “Missed Call”, tekan “Yes” untuk menampilkan nomor yang dituju. Tekan nomor apa saja ( 0 sampai 9 ), kemudian tekan “clear” sekali untuk memblok nomor tersebut, kemudian tekan dan tahan “<” sampai muncul “Store”, tekan “Yes”.
2. Menyembunyikan nomor.
Setelah menekan nomor yang dituju dan sebelum menekan “Yes”, tekan ‘ > ‘ 2 kali untuk memilih “Hide Id?” dan tekan ‘Yes’.
3. Mengecek level batere ketika ponsel mati (off ).
Tekan ‘No’ secara cepat 1 x dan tunggu hingga tampilan baterai terlihat.
4. Menyimpan nomor di memori ponsel (bukan SIM Card).
Ikuti prosedur normal untuk menyimpan nomor. Ketika tampilan untuk menyimpan terlihat tekan ‘#’ sekali dan lokasi yang diinginkan, atau tekan ‘#’ 2 kali untuk melihat posisi lanjutan.
5. Menghubungi nomor dari pesan SMS.
Mengarahkan kursor pada nomor yang tertulis, kemudian tekan “Yes”.
Shortcut Penampilan Gambar :
(Berlaku di sebagian besar ponsel Symbian).
Ketika melihat image atau gambar di galeri, tekan :
1 : untuk memutar gambar ke kiri.
2 : untuk memutar gambar ke kanan.

Hard Reset :

Cara Copy DVD Terprotek

Proteksi DVD cukup membuat repot juga bagi yang kepingin menggandakan dvd atau mau mengcopy dvd ke harddisk atau ada yang kepengen mengtransfer isi dvd ke ipod, transfer dvd ke ipad, ataupun transfer dvd ke hape, baru baru ini saya mencoba mengkopi dvd yang baru saya beli di toko, dvd asli loh, bukan dvd bajakan harganya? hm… RM59.90 atau sekitar 160rb kl dirupiahkan. lumayan mahal yah, tapi tidak mengapa, namanya juga kepengen mengkoleksi DVD asli dan koleksi pilem DVD yang bagus, apa salahnya kalo beli yang asli yah.

Nah masalah ditemukan waktu saya mencoba mengcopy isi dvd tersebut loh, wah ternyata terproteksi, ga tau model proteksi apa yang dipake, saya coba dengan program gratis freedvdDecrypter, DVD43, dvddecrypter juga ngga berhasil. setelah googling sana sini akhirnya saya mencoba program WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, dan ternyata BERHASIL!, adapun judul dvd yang saya beli ialah Alice in Wonderland, berikut sedikit tips untuk mengcopy isi dvd yang terproteksi ini.

Wah setelah dibuka di windows explorer, ternyata file di dalemnya banyak sekali ada 99 title didalam! gile men, enkripsi model apa ini yah kira kira?, wah masa bodoh, langsung praktek yuk:

1. Coba putar dvd atau play dvd tadi dengan windows media player atau program dvd kesukaan kita dikomputer atau dilaptop, dan perhatikan waktu filem dimainkan dia main di title ke berapa? catat titlenya, dan kemudian tutup windows media player tadi tau program dvd tadi.

2. Download WinX DVD Ripper Platinum dan install di komputer Anda. untuk dvd alice in wonderland yang saya beli, ternyata dia main di title no 50! kena loe gan. hehehe… Lanjut!

3. Nah setelah program sudah didownload dan terinstall, pilih trak no 50 tadi, yang lain cuekin yah :p, sekarang pilih mau convert ke type apa yang kita mau, mau ke 3gp juga bisa, atau download untuk ipod, iphone, ipad, mp4, dll deh.

4. Sesudah klik tombol “Disc” lalu pilih title 50, dimana title ini yang dimainkan oleh dvd player kita waktu kita mencoba memutarnya tadi, dan sudah memilih mau konversi ke type file yang kita ingini, dan klik lah tombol “Start”. Tunggu hingga selesai yah.

Perlu diketahui, program ini mendukung cpu multicore, jadi bagi yang punya cpu dualcore ataupun quadcore, program ini mendukungnya, berjalan di windows xp,vista, dan windows 7.

Update BIOS 1.09 pada PICO

Setelah beberapa rekan menemui kesulitan ketika melakukan update BIOS versi 1.09 pada PICO melalui booting Flashdisk, maka kini saya akan mejelaskan cara update/flashing BIOS versi 1.09 hanya melalui window (under window). Stepnya adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Untuk itu silakan download flashing package terlebih dahulu.
2. Silakan Install aplikasi SCM yg terbaru. (Silakan di uninstall versi lamanya)
3. Selama flashing, disarankan hanya dengan memakai adaptor, dan cabut baterai PICO anda.
4. File hasil download tadi, di extract. Kemudian buatlah folder di Direktori C:\ yg bernama FLASH.
5. Hasil extract tadi anda copykan ke folder flash yg telah dibuat di Drive C tadi.6. Kita akan melakukan flashing melalui CMD. Yaitu caranya klik START, RUN, kemudian ketikan CMD.
maka akan muncul window DOS mode.
7. Sebelum flashing alangkah baiknya kita backup dulu BIOS original PICO kita dgn mengetikan pada
Command Promt AFUWIN (nama file) /O ex: AFUWIN PICO.107 /O.
8. Setelah melakukan Backup, maka biasanya keyboard anda tidak akan berfungsi, maka ini wajar.
Silakan restart PICO anda.
9. Selanjutnya setelah proses RESTART selesai, masuklah pada mode DOS kembali dan ketikan
RUNFLASH.bat.
10. Setelah itu matikan PICO anda, cabut listrik. Dan diamkan selama 1 menit. Kemudian hidupkan lagi.
11. Setelah di hidupkan masuklah ke BIOS, masuklah ke setting advance. Disitu anda bisa memilih jenis Overclock yg di inginkan (hebat deh PICO bisa di overclock),utk yg pertama pilih aja yg 8%. Terus, enable kan Speedstep nya. Ketika sudah masuk window, coba anda tekan Fn+10 bila lampu power berubah menjadi orange, berarti TURBO MODE sedang ON.

Hal yg perlu di perhatikan ketika flashing under window adalah, matikan antivirus anda, kemudian software firewall window maupun firewall third party anda. Dan yakinkan bahwa listrik dirumah anda, tidak akan mati ketika proses Flashing.

Install Windows Xp From USB

Anda perlu menginstall Windows XP pada laptop yang tidak memiliki Optical Drive seperti Asus EEEPC, dan Dell Mini? Sudah pernah mencoba dan berkhir dengan munculnya keterangan “INF file txtsetup.sif is missing or corrupt, status 18″? Sudah mencoba berbagai cara dan tetep saja belum berhasil? Jika demikian, Anda perlu membaca artikel berikut ini. Panduan berikut ini akan menunjukkan langkah-langkah bagaimana cara menggunakan WinSetupFromUSB –salah satu program pembantu pembuat master Windows XP– untuk membuat sebuah bootable USB Flashdisk lengkap dengan master Windows XP. Dibandingkan dengan cara lain, cara ini lebih singkat dan lebih mudah dilakukan, bahkan bagi mereka yang belum cukup percaya diri dan menyebut dirinya sebagai pemula.
Sebelum memulai, Anda perlu mendownload WinSetupFromUSB di sini. Program ini bisa mendukung instalasi Windows XP baik yang 32 bit maupun yang 64 bit.
Selain itu, yang Anda butuhkan hanyalah:
- USB Flashdisk minimal berukuran 1GB
- CD Original Windows XP
- Keberanian dan sedikit kesabaran
Saya tidak menyarankan Anda untuk menggunakan Windows XP yang tidak original atau Windows XP yang sudah mengalami reduksi sehingga master CD nya berukuran lebih kecil daripada versi aslinya. Saya justru menyarankan Anda melakukan slipstreaming update Service Pack ke dalam WinXP. Anda bisa melakukannya dengan program bernama Nlite. Panduan menggunakan Nlite dapat Anda temukan di sini.
Dan, berikut ini langkah-langkah yang perlu Anda lakukan:
1. Download dan install WinSetupFromUSB. Folder instalasi defaultnya adalah C:\WinSetupFromUSB.
2. Buat folder khusus tempat Anda menyimpan file Instalasi Windows. Di sini saya menyimpan file installer tersebut di D:\WinXPHome. Selanjutnya copy semua isi CD Installer WindowsXP Anda ke dalam folder ini, sehingga tampilannya kurang lebih akan terlihat seperti ini:

3. Jalankan program WinSetupFromUSB. Jangan lupa untuk menancapkan Flashdisk Anda ke dalam slot USB. Sehingga akan tampak dalam USB Disk Selection seperi ini:

4. Pilih Folder Source Anda. Klik tombol Browse di baris Windows 2000/XP/2003. Temukan folder master Windows XP yang sebelumnya telah kita buat. Dalam hal ini saya menggunakan D:\WinXPHome.

Jangan lupa klik OK dan folder D:\WinXPHome akan tampak di kolom Windows 2000/XP/2003 Source .
4. Format Flashdisk USB Anda. Sebelumnya saya telah memperkenalkan tool pemformat Flashdisk USB yakni  HPUSBFW (HP Formatting Tool). Di sini, Anda tidak lagi memerlukan program tersebut, karena di dalam program WinSetupFromUSB sudah ada program pemformat flashdisk yang sudah terintegrasi.
Sekedar saran, Flashdisk USB yang berukuran hingga 2GB sebaiknya diformat dalam bentuk FAT16. Sementara untuk flashdisk 4GB ke atas harus diformat dalam bentuk FAT32. Kali ini saya akan memformat flashdisk Kingston Data Traveler milik saya dengan FAT32 dengan mengklik RMPrepUSB dalam menu utama WinSetupFromUSB.
5. Dalam halaman utama RMPrepUSB Anda akan temukan flashdisk Anda di bawah kolom Drive. Selanjutnya pilih Fat16, Boot As HDD, dan XP Bootable (NTLDR). Pastikan juga Anda tidak memilih checkboks Choose Folder di bagian bawah. Klik Prepare Drive untuk memulai Format seperti ilustrasi berikut:

Saat muncul konfirmasi dari RMPrepUSB, Klik OK. Flashdisk Anda akan segera diformat. Jika muncul keterangan sukses, klik OK dan Exit untuk keluar dari program ini.
6. Copy semua file dalam folder master Windows XP. Untuk memulai langkah ini, klik tombol GO dalam jendela utama program WinSetupFromUSB. Tunggu beberapa saat hingga proses penyalinan dokumen selesai. Jika Anda masih menggunakan USB 2.0, proses ini tidak akan membutuhkan waktu lama. Pertama kali saya gunakan program ini di PC Pentium 4 dengan USB 1.1, waktu penyalinan dokumen memakan waktu kurang lebih 20 menit.

Jika muncul License Agreement, silakan baca dan klik Agree. Selanjutnya, ketika Anda melihat konfirmasi seperti ini, maka rangkaian proses ini telah selesai.

Klik OK dan tutup program WinSetupFromUSB dengan memilih tombol EXIT.
Selanjutnya Anda tinggal melakukan booting lewat USB. Dalam beberapa kasus Anda perlu menekan tombol yang bervariasi, mulai dari F12, F8 hingga Esc. Anda dapat menemukannya dalam panduan lanjutan mengenai instalasi di Netbook tanpa Optical Drive yang akan tulis selanjutnya.

Cara Install Huruf Cina di Windows XP

Cara menulis dengan font yang berbeda-beda jenis huruf nya sangat di perlukan sekali bagi orang-orang yang ingin membuat suatu artikel dalam bahasa lain, seperti cina, jepang, korea. Dan untuk membuat tulisan di dalam windows XP biasa kita tidak mungkin langsung menemukan feature ini, dan harus melakukan settingan trlebih dahulu. Langkah-langkahnya adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Klik “Start” kemudian  “Control Panel” kemudian “Regional and Language Options”, lalu kita pilih tab Language.

2. Beri Ceklist di “Supplement language support”, ceklist keduanya supaya lengkap. Lalu nanti kita akan di hadapkan pada kotak dialog yang memberikan informasi bahwa untuk menginstall font Jepang,Cina dan Korea kita memerlukan 230 MB, dan untuk font jenis Arabic, Thai, Armenia, Georgian, Hebrew, Indic dan Vietnam kita memerlukan hanya 10 MB atau lebih.

3. Pilih OK, lalu pilih Apply, maka akan muncul pesan agar kita memasukkan CD XP.

4. Lalu Masukkan CD XP kita lalu kita tunggu proses nya sampai proses selesai.

5. Pilih Apply, lalu pilih “Details” (ikuti gambar di atas). pilih “Add”, seperti pada gambar berikut.

6. Maka akan muncul kotak berikut, lalu kita klik pada bagian Input Language, dalam kasus ini adalah jenis font Chinese (Taiwan), pilih OK, lalu lihat hasilnya seperti diatas.

7. Kita dapat melakukan cara di atas untuk bahasa Jepang, Korea atau bahasa yang lain.

8. Pilih OK, dan kita lihat di bagian status bar (kanan bawah), maka akan terdapat optional untuk menulis font Jepang, Cina atau Korea.

9. Untuk ganti bahasa, kita dapat memakai kombinasi tombol Alt+Shift, dan kita sekarang sudah dapat menulis dengan menggunakan font Jepang,Cina dan Korea.

10. Jika anda ingin install fonts yang banyak, agar lebih mempercepat proses pemindahan font bahasa yang kita pakai, cara nya adalah dengan memakai shortcut.

Langkah nya sebagai berikut: seteleh kita lakukan langkah ke tujuh (7) , pilih “Key Settings”, lalu pilih lagi “Change Key Sequence” kemudian klik “kombinasi tombol yang kita mau.

Untuk font lainnya, Anda bisa mencoba sendiri ya, dengan cara install font lain nya, semoga bermanfaat.
